Sometimes it feels like things will never change: another story on the news about the pain caused by bullying…another day at school or work where you feel disconnected and alone. When it feels like things won’t change or get better…it’s time to take action.
Remember that Love is Louder than the hurt and negative voices you feel or see around you, and then do something to change things. The Jed Foundation wants the Love is Louder movement to be a way for YOU to take action:
Take actions to feel better. Being part of the Love is Louder movement can help you focus on the positive instead of the negative, to express your feelings instead of holding them in, and to speak up if you need support. You can use the Love is Louder Action Card to get started.
Take actions to change your campus or community. The Love is Louder Action Kits are designed to help you plan discussions or events for your friends, school or organization to make us all feel more connected, realize the power of our actions, deal with negative voices and speak up for ourselves or the people around us.
Take actions to help others. Helping others is one of the best ways to make ourselves feel better. When you connect to the Love is Louder movement, you’ll get lots of ideas about ways to take action to support others. You can also hold fundraising events in your community to help support The Jed Foundation and Love is Louder.
